Co-founder and Chair of the Requisite Organization International Institute, 30-year research colleague of Elliott Jaques, co-authored Human Capability, A Study of Individual Potential and its Application, 1994 [Cason Hall]. Their research validated the constructs of a hierarchy of Orders of Complexity of Information and of the recursive four internal processes operating within the maturation of individuals to handle increasingly more complex problems. Of special note is the finding that managers, managers-once-removed, and individual subordinates can all agree on the level of work that the subordinate is capable of effectively handling, when provided clear constructs with which to articulate their judgments. This study set the foundation for Jaques' Life and Behavior of Living Organisms, 2002 [Praeger].
